"Bloomsday 2012 & Ulysses' 90th" --
Celebrating the 90th Anniversary
of Ulysses' Publication

The Borderbend Arts Collective is working with partnering organizations and individuals to present a series of programs in celebration of Bloomsday and the 90th anniversary of the publication of James Joyce's Ulysses. Bloomsday, which happens on June 16th, is the day on which James Joyce’s masterpiece Ulysses takes place. Bloomsday celebrations have happened in locations around the world for decades, and 2012 marks the 90th anniversary of the publication of Ulysses. Check back for updates about “Bloomsday 2012 & Ulysses’ 90th" throughout 2012.

Programs and other presentations of artworks are being showcased -- including theatrical readings from Ulysses, international collaborations, poetry, sound art, altered texts, 2D & 3D artworks, concerts, and more. Partnering organizations include Cooperativa dos Estudantes de Santa Maria, James Joyce Centre, Ponto de Cinema, and other organizations.
